Project Nidhi

NIDHI means treasure or Wealth.

This is the name of a project of Birbhum Artisani. We started this project from 2013. Here we focus on –

1. Skill Development Training,

2. Women Empowerment,

3. Livelihood and others.

From 2013 to 2020 we have provided free Batik, Block Print, Natural Dye, herbal Gulal etc. training to women’s needy peoples for self reliance. The number of beneficiaries 280. At present our trainees are working on 60 batik units ad 8 SHGs in Suri-I block and we are supporting them with designing and raw materials.
